I just wrote a long Email to Loni so Im gonna just keep it short here. I dont have a ton to say anyways because this week was a little different. I wasnt with my companion on Wednesday, Sat or Sun. We had splits on Wednesday because my Comp is our DL and all of the English elders went to Choluteca to watch conference in English. I loved conference though! I took a ton of notes and I learned more than ever. I loved it more than ever too so that made it fun. I noticed a theme on family, and I dont know if every confrenece is like that and I just noticed this time because Im away from you guys, but thats what i noticed as a little theme. It was a good theme as well. I quite enjoyed Elder Oaks talk about sacrafice and how missionaries have to sacrifice a lot, but their families do too. And missionaries recieve many blessings for their service, and their families do to. I know that is true. Whether you have been blessed or not yet I know you will be. I dont know how or when, because I dont get to pick that, but I know it will come.
This week was pretty normal other than the conference. We talked to a lot of people, alot of them were baptized and inactive, or not interested. It is tough because our little town is kind of like that. There is a purpose for us there though and we are doing our best to acomplish that. This week is la semaƱa santa, so everyone is going to be on vacation and we dont even have a bus to our area for a couple of days because it is a national holiday so they get work off. I will be interested to see if we walk or can find someone to take us out there. It will be a tough week for sure.
I feel like it will be a tough week is cedar as well. I cant believe that that happened to Lonis mom. I was writting a letter to her earlier this morning and was praying to know what to write in the letter (that was before I read your emails and learned) so I hope that something I said to Loni was guided by the spirit and will help her. I just am so sad for her. Life truley is not fair when people like Loni have to deal with trials like this. I certainly hope you all are doing everything you can to help her, and more, to fill in my absence haha.
I love you all so much. I hope that everything goes well in the next week for you. I cant believe I have already been in Honduras for a month about. Which puts me at 3 months in the mission on Wednesday. It goes so fast.
